Dr. Christina Lynn Johnson

Dr. Christina Lynn Johnson, age 57, left us to be with her heavenly father in the early hours of Tuesday, January 10, 2023. Christina was met in the loving arms of her late husband Robert Dan Johnson. She was born February 16, 1965, in San Antonio Texas to Carlton Marion Coker and Cecilia Ann Coker. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 1994 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She owned and operated several animal hospitals for over 25 years where she practiced veterinary medicine.

She was incredibly hardworking and compassionate, not only for animals but people as well. She was loved by many of her patients and clients. She had a big heart and much sympathy for all animals no matter the size, big or small.

Aside from her career, she loved her grandchildren tremendously, they were her heart and soul. She also loved going to church and providing food for those in need through her love for Christ. Her hobbies included riding motorcycles, horseback riding, playing the violin, fishing on the coast, political events, and hunting.

Christina is survived by her parents, Carlton and Cecilia Coker; children, Samuel, Caroline, Amee, and Albert; brothers James and Carlton Coker; grandchildren, McKenzie, Kelton, Karsyn, Fallyn, Tripp, Aleya, and Bandit; best friend Jacky and many others.
