Dr. Michael John Dorsa

Dr. Michael John Dorsa, known affectionately as Mike to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024, at the age of 70, in his hometown of San Antonio, TX. Born on February 19, 1954, in the same vibrant city, Mike was a man whose life was defined by his dedication to medicine, his love for his family, and his unwavering kindness.

Mike was predeceased by his father, John Dorsa, and is survived by his loving mother, Theresa Dorsa. His legacy continues through his children, Christopher, Eric, Anthony, Ian, Dominic, and Rebecca Dorsa, who were his pride and joy. His brother, Thomas Dorsa, and his former spouse, Catherine Dorsa, mother of his children, also survive him. Mike was a cherished grandfather to Magnolia and Jackson Dorsa, and a respected father-in-law to Savannah Dorsa.

Dr. Dorsa's pursuit of knowledge led him to the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. His career as a practicing physician spanned over three decades, during which he touched the lives of countless patients with his expertise and genuine care.

Mike's legacy is one of love, service, and excellence. His impact on the world of medicine and the hearts of those he encountered will be felt for generations to come.
