Drenda Lee Parris was born August 18, 1951 in Candler, North Carolina As the only child of her parents Rafael and Maude Rachel Parris. As a child, her friends developed the nickname of Wendy, from a sweet song they enjoyed together, and it stuck.
She met her hero Ralph Ingram in Myrtle beach, SC and then they married in August 1971. They traveled all over the world with his 20 year Air Force career that brought them to settle in Austin, Texas, with their only daughter Kellie Rachel Ingram, Who was named after her grandmother Maude Rachel. The joy of her life was helping raise her three grandchildren, Leslie espoused to Daniel, Laura Rachel espoused to Zach, and Christopher.
In April 2017 she was invited to enjoy another stage of life, being a great grandma to Judah and Annabelle Rachel in Virginia. She was able to be a part of the most welcoming and loving worship center, The Peninsula Pentecostals. She quickly made many friends and touched the lives of every person in her path with her kindness.
