Dylan was a special child and one of the first babies I  saw at the beginning of my career  while I worked at Brighton  and he was on my caseload from 2002 to 2005. I then saw him again around 9 or 10 years later for a short time when his mom was sick before he moved across town with relatives. 
Dylan was a brave boy who made his mom very happy and he had the biggest eyes in Texas and did his best to play and connect with all his caregivers.  I am said to read of his passing today which is almost 3 yrs after his departure. May Dylan RIP and may his surviving family members have peace that he is in a better place.

My favorite memory of Dylan happened one day when I was visiting and holding him while his mother was talking. She had been talking about how hard her life was when Dylan suddenly looked right at her and blew a raspberry in her direction.  Although he couldn't talk, I think he was saying in his own way,  "You think your life is hard, try mine!"
