Dyoil V. Richards

Dyoil V. Richards, age 78, passed away on March 24, 2016 in Selma, Texas. He was born on April 8, 1937 to George Seaborn & Lillie Bell Richards. He retired from the U.S. Air Force under the SAC Command and later worked over 13 years for the Drug Enforcement Administration. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna June Holden.

Mr. Richards is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Betty June Richards; 7 children, Beverly Ann Richards, Judy Nelson, Kathryn Richards, Mary Ellen Richards, Stephen Mark Blackburn, Susan Carol Richards and Vikki Leggitt. He also had 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 9 a.m., Monday, April 4, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
