Ebony was such a sweetheart. Her laughter was so contagious, she brighten our class and school. Although we were blessed to have only a small amount of time with her, the impact she made on me and all of us who worked was tremendous. Ebony was my student but I learned a lot from the sweet, sassy girl.
My sincerest condolences to her parents and family.
Rest in peace sweet angel.

My oh so sweet Ebony! From the first day I met you, my heart completely melted. You had me wrapped around your finger. The way your sweet voice and smile lit up an entire room. My Sweet Eb,

Thank you for pushing me to think outside of the box, to challenge the norms and when all else fails... that everything is better with glitter and bows <3

You showed me how to be a better teacher, and showed Braxton how to be an amazing friend. You rocked your confidence with a style, sass and flare that no one else can come close to.

Rest east sweet girl.

What a blessing sweet Ebony has been to my life. She made my belief in God deepen over the last couple of years, as I prayed for Ebony to get better. When I first heard about Ebony from my sister Steffanie, Ebony was very sick. As we watched her recover and go home from the hospital and actually get to go to school, I marveled at God’s grace for Ebony. Mama, you inspire others as to the lengths a mother will go to for her child. I’ve grown to admire you and Ebony. May you now find peace in knowing that Ebony is no longer suffering, and God has healed her. Also know that Ebony made such an impression on many. I will forever remember this family, and how you shared your journey with your beautiful daughter. God bless you all as you begin this next chapter in your life. Blessings to all.
