Dear Diane & Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
There are so many wonderful, fun memories of "Fast Farrens"! Seems that Cathy Roy Berg and Roy Munsell and myself were always hanging around together. Seems just like yesterday that Eddie was driving his blue "fast" ford in front of Edison High School. I will truly miss him but the memories will remain in my heart forever.

Eddie was a very good friend in high school. my thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Mr. Farrens was a Cardell Cabinetry Icon. I larger than life figure who could be intimidating if you did'nt know him. After I got a chance to finally meet him and discuss business, it was quite a pleasure. I loved his sense of humor and openness about his love of life and Texas. He was a true Texan in every sense of the word and I am honored that I had a chance to get to know him. He was missed when he retired and of course he'll be missed even more now. God Speed Mr. Farrens on your journey to heaven! Say hi to my Dad, Bill Henry when you get there.

To the Family: I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Eddie George. We had lost touch over the years but I always considered him a friend. My prayers and condolences go out to you all. George

Eddie was a friend from high school and I will always remember him. We called him "Fast Eddie" because he loved to race his car at the drag strip. He wore blue jeans pegged so tight we could never figure out how he got his feet in them and he always had a smile on his face. He was a joy to know.

I will always remember Eddie and have fond memories of him in high school. He was a true friend and my prayers are with ya'll. May God Keep His Gentle Hands Surrounding Ya'll in your time of mourning.

Mrs. Farrens, I can only imagine what you can possibly be going through. Even though I only knew him for a short time, I really enjoyed conversing with him when he came in for his appointments and greatly appreciated how even though he was in great pain, he expressed his genuine concern for others. It's hard to believe Eddie is gone.
In years past, I spent many a weekend hunting with Eddie in S. Tx.
He always had a tall tale to tell and a joke to make us laugh. My most lasting memory of Eddie is that his hunting attire always matched. I often wondered if he was moonlighting as a Mossy Oak representative. We used to kid him about an unusally tall tower bind he would hunt out of - it was almost in the clouds it was so tall. Now Eddie has gone on to his happy hunting ground!
