Eddie L. Gonzalez, Jr.

Beloved husband, father, son and friend, Eddie L. Gonzalez, Jr., age 31, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015. Eddie had a reputation of being well-known that "he could fix anything"! He was a professional in his field and was just "a damn good mechanic" who would help anyone at any time.

He lived a life of devotion to his family and will be remembered as one who lived a life of absolute integrity. He was a loving son, father, husband and wonderful grandson who consistently inspired all of those around him with his commitment in life, always optimistic and a free spirit in nature.

Eddie is preceded in death by his grandfather, Gerardo Gonzalez, Sr. and uncle, Richard Gonzalez. He is survived by his wife, Tiffany Aldana Gonzalez; sons: Judel Rene Aldana and Edward A. Gonzalez III; father Eddie Gonzalez Sr. and wife, Belinda; his mother Patricia L. Gonzalez; sister Angelina Marie Urista and Ruben Urista Jr. ; grandmother Socorro Gonzalez; grandparents Guadalupe and Maria Lopez; brothers: Stephen Kiolbassa and wife, Mary; Nathan Kiolbassa; brother-in-law Eli Aldana; sisters-in-law Laurie Aldana, Priscilla Aldana and Tina McGuire; step-sister Jessica Redwine and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Eddie was a devoted, thoughtful and caring individual; he will be deeply missed by all those lives he touched. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18th beginning at 6:00 PM with recitation of the Rosary at 7:30 PM in the Porter Loring chapel on McCullough.

On Friday, June 19th, a procession will depart Porter Loring chapel at 12:30 PM for a Mass of the Resurrection at 1:00 PM at San Fernando Cathedral, 115 Main Plaza followed by interment in San Fernando Cemetery III., 1735 Cupples Road.
