He was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy and his parents. His is survived by his wife, Jeanette of Schertz, Texas; two daughters, Debbie and Holly; and grandchildren of San Antonio, Texas; a brother, Robert Brockhaus of Murphy, Texas; a niece and family of Garland, Texas. He is also survived by three step-sons and their families.
After completing high school, he served in the Military. He worked in air conditioning and plumbing and eventually owned his own plumbing supply businesses. He joined The Country Church of Marion and took on the job of building superintendent for the church. He was also a member of the Hermann Sons.
He loved music and played trumpet in school. His favorite way to relax was to take his boat out on the lake early in the morning and watch the sun come up and drink his coffee. He enjoyed little children, horses, and other animals and most of all he loved Jesus.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 11th at 2:00 pm at The Country Church; 1005 FM 78 W; Marion, TX 78124. The Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 pm.
