Edmund V. Valdez, age 54, passed away January 15, 2015. He was born on May 12, 1960 in San Antonio, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Valdez; children, Anthony Valdez, Alyssa Valdez, Mercedes Leon, Edmund J. Valdez, Elena Valdez and Emily Valdez; parents, Max and Rose Valdez, grandfather, Braulio R. Pesina; parents –in-law, Mike and Dolores Pesina; brother, Richard Valdez and sister, Rose Marie Valdez; brothers-in-law, Christopher Guajardo, Jack R. Nelson, Jon Gary Herrera; sister-in-law, Catherine Herrera; nephews, Jack A. Nelson and William Nelson; nieces, Deanna Servin, Felicity Rodriguez and Juliette Grace Herrera. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Friday, January 23, 2015 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home.
