

Edna Louise (Gardner) Costantino was born at home in San Antonio, Texas on October 31, 1932, and passed away January 10, 2025, at the age of 92. Edna graduated from Brackenridge High School in January 1950.
She married Vincent Costantino on June 28, 1950, and they were happily married for 66 years. When she wasn’t a housewife and homemaker, she worked at SW Research Institute.
She is predeceased by her loving husband, Vincent Costantino; her parents, Aloysius and Matilda Gardner; brothers, Aloysius Gardner and John Gardner; sister, Kathryn Miller; and granddaughters, Martha and Mary Ellebracht. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Dykes (Stephen), Dianne Costantino, and Patricia Costantino; and son, Stephen Costantino (Monica). She adored her grandchildren, Becky Carroll (Keane), Alison Culpepper, Emily Scruggs (Evan), Erin Ellebracht, Wesley Ellebracht, Victoria Lopez (Daniel) and Dillon Costantino, and her great-grandchildren, Mason and Morgan Blair, Carson and Reese Carroll, Ethan, Eva, and Ella Scruggs, and Sonora Lopez. She is also survived by her sisters Frankie Kusek (Mike), Karolyn Taylor (Craig), and brother-in-law William Miller. She has many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Some of her favorite things were cooking holiday meals for her family, reading, crafts, gardening, and collecting Wizard of Oz memorabilia. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, very loved by her family and will be missed so much.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Rosary and Mass, Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 600 Oblate Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78216. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
