Edna G. Reyes

Edna G. Reyes passed away on July 30, 2020 at the age of 78 in San Antonio, Texas. Born in McAllen, Texas on February 20, 1942, she is preceded in death by her parents, Pablo Adame Ramirez and Herminia Diaz Ramirez; her beloved husband, Joe Lazaro Reyes; her son, Roland A. Reyes; and her brother, Gamaliel P. Ramirez.

She leaves her memory to her children, Rebecca Garcia (Richard), Ruben Reyes (Janie) and Christina Soto (Daniel); her 10 grandchildren; her 24 great-grandchildren; her 4 great-great-grandchildren; her brothers, Rolando Ramirez and Aristeo Ramirez; her sister, Ruth Rodriguez; and her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who loved her dearly.

Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the visitation at Funeraria del Angel Trevino – 226 Cupples Rd. 78237 – will be limited to 50 people in the building at a time.

The family will be receiving friends for a Visitation on Tuesday, August 18 from 5:00 AM – 9:00 PM, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. On Wednesday, August 19, a Chapel Service will begin at 11:00 AM. The Interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery will be a private service at this time.
