Edward A. Buddy Chavez

Edward A. "Buddy" Chavez, age 57, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015 surrounded by his loving family in San Antonio. He was born to Edward and Isabel Chavez on October 6, 1957 in San Antonio, TX.

Edward was preceded in death by his father, Edward Chavez, maternal grandparents and paternal grandmother.

He is survived by his loving mother, Isabel S. Chavez, sister, Gloria D. Chavez, brother, Robert E. Chavez (Martha), sister, Elizabeth R. Charles (Anthony), sister, Laura K. Fossier (Gary), sister, Tamara S. Moreno (Michael), nieces and nephews, Ashley E. Charles, Isabela G. Fossier, Matthew E. Fossier, Emma E. Moreno, Jacob A. Moreno and an extended loving family.

Edward had a long, successful career in telecommunications during which he made many valuable friendships. To know him was to be a friend to him. He was a kind and generous soul who knew no strangers. Edward was a loving son, brother, and uncle. His family was his greatest passion in life and he will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
