Sympathy & Prayers to Betty and all the family. One of my joys visiting Summit Healthcare was seeing Ed Cheviot sitting near the nurses station waiting to receive Holy Communion. He was a good & faithful servant and an example for all of us. He will be greatly missed.

Ed was a great man, true to his employees and a good Catholic man. I had the pleasure of working with him in the travel business I had the pleasure of learning a great deal about the travel industry from him. God bless yoy Ed.

My deepest sympathy to the Cheviot family. My late husband, Dr. Sean Burke had a TV show at KMOL for many years and he and Ed became instant and longtime friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Having worked with Ed in two different arenas (TV and the travel business) I knew him well - he was a giant of a man - a true gentleman. Dan and I spent a lot of time with Ed and Dorothy, knew Linda well. He will truly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go to Betty Ray and Linda.

Mr. Cheviot was nice and thoughtful. I enjoyed working for him. My prayers and thoughts are with the family.

I met Mr Cheviot as a employee of Oak Hills Country Club in 1955. My father,sister and brother and I have over 40 combined years with him. A great man. We have caring thoughts and Heartfelt Sympathy for the family.

To know Ed was to love him. I only met him during the last year of his life at the Summit Healthcare Center in Lakeway, but that short acquaintance was enough to make me wish I had known him forever. It was quite obvious to me that Ed was a devout and loving man. We will miss him dearly.

A common sense man if there ever was one! You could tell by his TV editorials.Old school...good school dude.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Ed. He was our neighbor for over 30 years and my family enjoyed knowing him and Dorothy. He was a wonderful man and will be missed.
