Edward B. Deptuch

Edward B. Deptuch, age 91, passed away March 8, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on September 9, 1923 in Brooklyn, New York to John and Amelia Deptuch. He was a WW II U.S. Army veteran, serving proudly and honorably. He retired from the New York Police Department after many dedicated years of public service. Edward is survived by his wife Mildred B. Deptuch; children, Douglas B. Deptuch and wife Jane; Suzanne M. Deptuch; grandchildren, Jennifer Deptuch, Matthew Deptuch and wife Jessica; great-granddaughter, Moriah Deptuch; brothers, Eugene Deptuch, John Deptuch and wife Faye; sister, Alice Tupone and husband Angelo; sister-in-law, Marilyn Reimer; Numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 13715 Riggs Rd, Helotes, Texas 78023. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with U.S. Army military honors.
