Edward, affectionately known as Ed, was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Dillon and Florence Nims; brothers, Kurt Dillon of Williamsfield, Harold Dillon (Carol) of Andmer, Keith (Sandy) Dillon of Williamsfield, and Kaye Dillon of Niles; as well as his late wives, Betty J. Dillon and Clarice Anderson Franklin.
Ed served his country honorably as an Army veteran during World War II. Following his military service, he worked as a foreman for Conrail for over 12 years.
He had a passion for fishing, enjoyed the outdoors, and took great pleasure in yard work.
Ed is survived by his children: Craig A. Dillon of Rock Creek, Kevin L. Dillon of Champion, Stacy A. (Pete) Fredericksen of San Antonio, and James E. Dillon of Pennsylvania; and 3 grandkids: Ashley Dillon, Seth Dillon & Tyler Fredericksen.
His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
