Edward Rivas Balderas was born in San Antonio, Texas to Elias and
Angelica Balderas on September 6, 1938. He worked for the state of Texas for 30 years.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents Elias and Angelica Balderas and his brother Gabriel Balderas.
He is survived by his wife Carmen Balderas and son Edward Balderas and grandchildren.
He was a kind and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved and he was loved. He will be missed dearly.

A Reception will follow at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Lonestar Hall, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218, on June 8, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
