Edward A. Espinoza Sr.

Edward Sr, was a decorated Vietnam War Veteran. He served proudly in the United States Marine Corp. 1st Marine division. For his service, he earned 2 purple hearts, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Action Medal, Rifle Marksman Badge. He was a documented POW with numerous letters of recognition from his superiors for his display of bravery and leadership in hostile combat during 4-recorded major operations.

Edward is survived by his mother, Aurora Espinoza; his children, Edward Espinoza, Jr., Tracy Ann Redmon, Nicholas Espinoza, 11 Grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Don Luis Espinoza, his brother, Norberto "Veto" Espinoza and sister, Teresa "Terry" Espinoza.

A visitation for Edward will be held Monday, March 28, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life to begin at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 12:30 PM at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
