

Mr. Guerra was a beloved patriarch of the Guerra family. He served his country in the US Navy in World War II, U.S Air Force, and Air Force Reserves. Eddie was a devoted City Public Service employee for over 35 years. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing, and was a very giving person who touched many lives. He did frequent volunteer work, especially with Meals on Wheels.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Edward Michael Guerra; his parents, Guadalupe and Juana Guerra; and his brother, Joe A. Guerra.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Tina Guerra; son, Adrian Rene Guerra and wife Mimi; daughter in law Connie Guerra; granddaughters, Victoria Elizabeth Guerra and Alexandria Renee Guerra; brothers, Raul Guerra and wife Rosie and Armando Guerra and wife Gloria and numerous cherished nieces and nephews. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at Porter Loring.
