'My name is Diana Sellers Alvarado and we lived on the corner of Waverly Ave. and Tulane. My mother was friends with Mrs. Menchaca. We knew Eddie and Ernie growing up. We were amazed with them and we could not tell who was who and we always had it wrong. One had a mole on the side of his face and still we couldn't tell. I am saddened to hear about him and his brother. They were very respectful and caring for others. I extend our condolences to the family. Blessings to all.'

'Uncle Eddie gave me a Russian coin for my birthday one year. Next thing - I'm in Moscow presenting a paper to enlighten the Russians. His quick, determined, easygoing manner went around the world and helped people get to their destinies.'

'Dickie and the Twins, how our stories have grown over the years. When Ernie passed it was a shocking day but having you around was great comfort and life seemed to move on. And now as I drive around in those moments of solitude I realize how much my life has been affected. We had such great times as youth and I shall never forget our life and memories. Perhaps when I pass God will see fit to let us watch "Pepe" together one more time and when the part comes up "Who has ah funny ah face as Pepe" God will let us say: His mother, to the laughter of Heaven, it sure worked at the Majestic.
