Heaven gained an angel on Friday, August 27th 2021. Edward Anthony Noriega age, 51 passed away peacefully with loved ones at his side. He was born on April 18th, 1970, to parents, Eugene Noriega Jr and Rosemary Noriega along with his 3 siblings, older brother Eugene better known as “Gino” who is proceeded in heaven, younger sister Erica and younger brother Steven.
Ed was taught at a young age that if you want something in life, you have to work for it. So that’s what he always did. At the age of 12, Ed started working with his father refinishing wood and tile floors, painting homes, and other odd jobs to assist his father. As years went by, Ed would find himself in the furniture business, and in 1997 he joined the Cavendar Automotive Family where he would prove to be both valuable and trustworthy to both his customers and employer. From 2009 to 2015 Ed helped manage the Cadillac Dealership and in 2016 he was promoted to General Sales Manager at the Land Rover Dealership in San Antonio. Throughout his years he formed many long-lasting relationships with people that considered him a mentor, leader, and friend.
In 2020 after 21 very successful business years Ed decided to say goodbye to the car business to spend more time with his family. Family meant everything to Ed and over the last year, he began an incredible journey spending more time with his loved ones than ever before. He shared intimate moments with his loving wife having morning coffee, walks, trips to the winery, and conversations of their blessings, time with his children exploring Colorado, Jeep four wheeling & hiking in Utah, and playing at the beach, time with his siblings having an evening glass of wine while his musical favorites played and giving all the cuddles and love to his 3 beautiful grandchildren. Dad cherished these moments, and his joy and love were infectious to those around him.
Towards the end of 2020 Ed decided to embark on a new journey that he always had a desire for which was the Real Estate business, as a matter of fact shortly after graduating from Thomas Edison High School he went to a Community College to get his Associate Degree in Real Estate. He believed early on in life that nothing would be more rewarding than helping people purchase the home of their dreams. This desire has always been a part of Ed’s DNA. Prior to his passing he was pursuing his true calling and decided to team up with Keller Williams Heritage, and was working on his first home sale which successfully closed during his final days.
Ed is survived by his wife Peggy, daughter Felicia, son Ethan, son Andrew, daughter-in-law Che’, and his grandchildren Layla, Bella, and Jaxon.
A memorial service to honor Ed’s life is currently being planned. Further details will be provided over the next week.
