Dear Padilla Family: It is with great admiration and respect that I offer my condolences on the death of Edward A. Padilla. I recently learned that he was a veteran of World War II; a member of the Greatest Generation. I too come from a proud military family, as such, I honor the contributions Mr. Padilla has made. 
My late father-in-law, Henry Van de Putte Sr., was a Navy pharmacist mate aboard the U.S.S. South Hampton, which saw action in the Pacific, including Iwo Jima. My great uncle Nicolas Estrada was at the Battle of the Bulge and later served as a bailiff at the Trials of Nuremberg. Please know that he is mourned even by those who weren't fortunate enough to know him personally. 
As Chair of the Senate Committee on Veteran Affairs and Military Installations, I appreciate his sacrifices on behalf of our great nation. God bless you and your family during this difficult time. Warm Regards,

Tears of a Grandson for his Grandpa

Grandpa, you know I will miss from the tears rushing down my face. I will always treasure the wonderful memories of you playing catch with me on the porch. When I am playing baseball I will look up at the stands and know you are watching me.
My love for you will never end. Grandpa what I’m trying to say is I love you! It’s so hard to say Goodbye but I have to let you go. I know one day I will reunite with you. Until then I know you will always be beside me.

Jerry and Family, Sorry for your loss. It is unknown to myself why or how your father passed away. He lived a long life, he was a good man, especially a good father, and always was there for his family. I remember our younger days at Holy Rosary and Holy Cross, the rivalry of Holy Rosary against Holy Family at NCAA, wow. They are all beautiful, bad and good. What we would do to relive those days. I know your memories are as pleasant as mine. Your family has always been good people and I want to personally let you know you were and always will be a good friend of mine. Call me someday soon. May your dad rest in peace and may your family remain close. I do intend to make one of the services. My prayers are with you.

THANK YOU for allowing me to help you GROW further SPIRITUALLY in JESUS as we prayed and I read you some scriptures from the bible during your hospice days at home.
