Edward Trevino Vasquez was born on April 27, 1972 and went to be with our Lord on March 31, 2019 at the age of 46. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Antonio and Olivia Vasquez and brother; Richard Vasquez. Edward is survived by his loving wife of 16 ½ years, Michelle Vasquez and daughter, Sarah Michelle Vasquez. Siblings; Tony Vasquez (Angie), Mary Hilda Alderete (Louis), David Vasquez (Monica), and Sylvia Pelayo (Mario). In-laws Antonio and Dominga Mireles, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and god-children.
Edward was a native of San Antonio. He attended Agnes Cotton Elementary, Mark Twain Middle and graduated from Health Careers High School. He went on to receive his Bachelors, Masters and Post Graduate degrees from Our Lady of the Lake University. OLLU is where Edward met his loving wife while on an international study tour. They have enjoyed celebrating their lives together with their beautiful daughter. They loved to travel, camp, go to the beach, hike, star gaze, cook, bake, watch movies, play games, attend concerts, go to comic cons and read books together.
Edward started his career in the medical field at St Luke’s and Methodist, then moved into banking with Bank of America and Wells Fargo Bank and completed his career consulting at USAA. Edward celebrated his life every day with loved ones, friends from work, school, church and family friends.
The most important thing to Edward was family. He loved his family and would do anything and everything for them. This included his wife and daughter as well as all his extended family. His wife and daughter will continue to celebrate his life here on earth every day and when God decides to call them to be by Edward’s side, they will continue to celebrate their everlasting life in heaven together with the Lord. We love you Edward / Daddy.
Edward will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. The visitation will be held Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78237 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of resurrection will take place at St. Luke’s Catholic Church on Monday, April 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
