He was born April 9, 1958, in Evergreen Park, IL., to Richard and Alicia Winkelman.
Edward was an Air Force veteran and a devoted husband and father. The center of his life was his children.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Winkelman, Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Kimberly; 3 children, Austin, Kylie, and Emily Winkelman; a brother, Richard Winkelman, Jr. and his wife Dawn; 2 sisters, Doreen Wells and her husband Howard, and Mary Beth Hastings and her husband James; and his mother, Alicia Winkelman.
