Efrain Ramos, age 64, passed away January 4, 2014 in San Antonio, TX. He was born on April 10, 1949 in Rio Grande City, TX. He retired from Civil Service (Ft. Sam Houston) after 38.5 years. He was a proud Vietnam Army Veteran, talented artist, avid music aficionado and a dog lover. “Ramos” was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Miguel & Gilma Ramos; and niece, Katie Stevens.
“Ramos” is survived by his wife, Pam Ramos; 2 children, Reba Scott & husband Carey Minchew and Jason Ramos; grandson, Dreaux Minchew; 3 sisters, Maria Eva, Sylvia & Cindy; numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends.
The Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. A private burial will be at a later date at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
