Efrain A. Trevino, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather entered his eternal life at the age of 93 on February 5, 2025. He was born in Luling, Texas on June 18, 1931; graduated from Brackenridge High School.
Efrain enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at the age of 18 and fought in the Korean War. He served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps and joined the Air Force to where he was CMSgt of the 433 at Kelly Air Force Base until his retirement. He then went to work for Teledyne Technologies for 7 years where he and his wife lived in La Paz, Boliva. They enjoyed their travels in South America.
His other passion in life was when he volunteered in coaching his children in baseball, softball, volleyball, his granddaughters in softball, and his grandson in baseball and basketball for CYO of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where he was a member since 1976. He was also part of the Knights of Columbus of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by parents, Jesse and Carolina Trevino; brothers, Rudy Garcia, Fred Medellin, and Jessie Trevino; sister, Norma Acosta.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Trevino; his three children, Virginia DeYoung, Linda Trevino and Ralph Trevino and wife Debbie Trevino; 7 grandchildren, Kristina, Nichole, Kyle, Jacob, Samantha and Garrett; 8 great-grandchildren and his brothers, Raul Trevino and Manuel Trevino.
