

An only child, Eileen and her parents endured the Great Depression. She graduated from Charles Brush High School of South Euclid in 1940, the editor of the school newspaper.
In January 1945, Eileen married Richard Paul Focht of Hardin County Ohio. Together they raised three children. In 1967 they moved the family to San Antonio.
From school secretary to farm wife, mother, bank teller, substitute teacher and many roles in between, Eileen also spent years volunteering for the Jefferson Area Coop as well as with her Joy Circle and Church activities at Jefferson UMC.
Eileen is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Richard Paul Focht. Eileen is survived by her children and their spouses, Rick (Collene) of Denver, Colorado, Dennis (Donna) of San Antonio, Texas, Jane (Chip) of San Antonio, Texas, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
