Eileen C. Gibson

Eileen C. Gibson, age 86, passed away October 30, 2014, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born December 21, 1927, in Ypsilanti, North Dakota to Burt and Laura Nicholls, and grew up in Spokane, Washington.

She was married and lived in St. Louis, returning to Spokane in the late 1960's where she owned her own electrolysis business until retirement. In 2008 she moved to San Antonio with her daughter.

Her hobbies include sewing and knitting, gardening, and bird watching. She was an avid baseball and Spurs basketball fan and enjoyed following the pro golfers on TV. In recent years she enjoyed playing Words with friends on her iPad.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Gordon Nicholls and Robert Nicholls; her sister, Helen Maddemeyer and her granddaughter, Victoria Gibson.

Eileen is survived by her daughter, Carol Rose and husband Charles (Skip); son, Barry Gibson, grandchildren, Kyle Rose and Brian Rose; sister, Lorraine Riddle; and many nieces and nephews. Eileen was loved by all and will be missed by family and friends.
