Born December 13, 1918, Elaine on February 23, 2008 joined her Savior Jesus Christ, her husband, Charles Chuck, and friends and family who went before. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend who blessed thousands of people during her life. Born in Flatonia, Texas to Hugh and Annabelle Brunneman, Elaine grew up in San Antonio, where she met Chuck, a medic in the U.S. Army. They married December 31, 1941, and Chuck went on to the European Theatre in World War II and to the Korean conflict later. In every situation, Elaine was the strong, reliable bond that built and held together her family. Elaine was a lifelong member of Travis Park Methodist Church until she moved to the Dallas area. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Ross, daughter, Susan and son-in-law, Mike Hill; son, Tom and daughter-in-law, Nikki Watson; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
