Eleanor Ann Boone

She was one of four daughters born to Gaspari and Michaela Zichichi on August 21, 1924, in San Antonio, TX. She was an honor student at Brackenridge High School, and in 1945 married Sgt. Willard Lee Boone Jr.

Eleanor had an extraordinarily strong will and strength of character, which was required in her active role in her family's business, Alamo Truck Center, and in raising five boys. She had a flair for entertaining and a wonderful gift for preparing incredible Italian meals for family and friends.

Her integrity and solid faith in God were unremitting throughout her life, and her presence made the world a better place. Eleanor's memory will live on through her family and friends.

Eleanor is survived by her sons Willard L. Boone III Elle, Charles Daniel Boone Kathryn, Jonathan S. Boone, David C. Boone Virginia; daughter-in-law Brenda Koppes Gerald; grandchildren Meredith Boone, Erin Boone, Brandon Boone, Denay Aaron, Jordan Boone, Laura Boone, Landon Boone, Ryan Boone, Justin Boone, Ashley Boone, Devin Boone; and great grandchildren Madison Matlock, Dylan Boone and Eleanor Segers.

She is predeceased by husband, Willard, son Jerry M. Boone, and sisters Elizabeth Heyland, Clara Monaco, and Virginia Palmieri.
