Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 52 years, Herbert E. Hargis and brother, Alphonse Janyssek.
She is survived by one son, James E. Hargis and wife, Terry Hargis; two daughters, Jo Ann Norlin and Mary Ellen McCammon and husband, Dan McCammon; four grandchildren, Matthew E. Hargis, Monica L. Hargis, Charles D. McCammon and Erin M. McCammon; sisters, Irene Mary Barker and Mary Esther Olsen; and sister-in-law, Jane Janyssek.
Eleanor was very active in the Catholic Church, a member of the Altar Society for over fifty years serving as president for several terms. She enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, bowling, her children and beloved grandchildren, her extended family and her many friends. Eleanor was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
