

After a valiant battle, Nell passed away peacefully in San Antonio, following a surprise diagnosis of cancer two weeks earlier. Born and raised in Eagle Pass, Texas, she was the oldest sister in a family of eight children.
Nell was talented seamstress and crochet enthusiast. She loved helping others and spending time with her grandchildren. She touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity, and maintained her trademark sense of humor right to the end.
Survived by her mother, Roberta Hirzel Schober; her children, Armando “Trey” Daniel III (Jessica), Natalie Daniel Silva (Carlos), and Stefanie Daniel; her grandchildren, Hailey, Charlie, Jackson, Alanna, Dora, Sophia, and Carlos; brothers, Jack, Jim, and David (Shanna), and sisters, Linda, Cindy (Mark), and Jody (Aron); many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Preceded in death by her father, James Edwin Wrigley, her grandparents who raised her, Richard W. and Helen Ermler Hirzel, and her sister, Judy.
