Elena Rocha Serna

Elena Rocha Serna went to be with the Lord on April 24, 2015 at the age of 73. She was born in San Antonio, Texas to the parents of Felix T. Rocha Sr. and Guadalupe Zapata. She attended Edgewood Schools, and later in life, worked as a RN in the neonatal unit for numerous years. She is preceded in death by her husband: Robert Serna, parents: Felix T. Rocha and Guadalupe Zapata, step-mother: Aurora M. Rocha, and sister: Maria Felis. She is survived by 3 children: Cecilio Jr. (Norma) Rodriguez, Dora Strzelczyk, and Roland R. Serna; Brothers: Felix Rocha Jr. (Kathy) Rocha, Merced Rocha, Henry Sr.(Maggie), Armando Rocha, Jose (Diane) Rocha, Mike (Christina) Rocha; Sisters: Jeanette Rocha, Veronica (Gary) Drew; 16 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will begin on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd., 5:00 PM with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 9:30 AM for a 10:00 AM Mass to be celebrated at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery 2.
