Elia Leal Biggs, 95 died Saturday, June 26, 2021. She is survived by her four children; son; James E. Porter and wife Virginia, daughters; Barbra and Bruce Gentry, Sharon and George Ramirez, Mary Elaine and Rodrigo Rodriguez; seven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, cousins, nephews, nieces, other living relatives and a host of friends.
Elia was a loveable, funny and compassionate devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Tuesday, July 6, 2021 located at 1701 Austin Highway from 6PM to 9PM with a rosary being recited that evening at 7PM. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2021 beginning at 11AM at Holy Name Catholic Church, 3814 Nash Blvd, San Antonio, Texas 78223. Father Martin will be officiating both services. Internment is to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, Texas 78218. Immediately following burial, a reception will be held at Holy Name Catholic Church Activity Center.
