Elia enjoyed sewing and collecting salt and pepper shakers, a hobby that reflected her appreciation for the little things in life. She also enjoyed collecting newspaper clippings of her favorite artist, especially Elvis Presley, whose music brought her joy.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Isidro V. Guzman, and her two sons, Gene Guzman and Isidro Guzman Jr.
Elia leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Henry T. Guzman and Don S. Guzman; her sister, Mary Garcia; her granddaughter, Valerie Guzman-Perez; her great-granddaughters, Eliana and Eliza Perez; and her granddaughter Lisa Guzman. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will hold her memory close to their hearts.
Elia’s memory will live on through the family she loved and the special moments they shared. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she gave and the memories she leaves behind will remain a lasting part of those who knew her.
May she rest in eternal peace.
