Elida Anaya

One of Elida’s favorite things to do was to attend church outings with her friends and family. She enjoyed the sense of community and the opportunity to strengthen her faith. She also loved attending family gatherings, where she could spend time with her loved ones, catch up on their lives, and share in the joy of being together. Perhaps her favorite pastime, however, was playing loteria. She would spend hours playing the traditional game with her family and friends, laughing and joking along the way.

Elida will be united in heaven with her father; Patricio Gonzaba Bandera, mother; Josefina Paz, brothers; Richard Martinez, Jacinto Martinez, and Erasmo Martinez.

Elida’s memory will forever live in the hearts of her daughter, Mary Jane (Jose Alvarez) and her son, Ernest Gutierrez, her grand-daughter, Abby, Alexis, April, Amaya, and Ashley, grand-sons, Joshua, Joseph, Aaron, and her multiple great great grandchildren, her brothers; Victor Martinez and Joe Martinez, sister; Juana Vasquez, and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Elida will be held Monday, February 12, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237, followed by a prayer service at 7:00 PM.
