With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Ellie Galindo, who left this world surrounded by the love of her family. Ellie was a woman of unwavering love, boundless kindness, and a heart that embraced all who knew her. She lived a life full of love, devotion, and generosity, always putting her family first and finding joy in the simple, meaningful moments shared with those she cherished.
Ellie was the devoted wife of Roberto Galindo, with whom she built a lifetime of love and memories. Together, they raised two wonderful sons, Robert and David, both of whom carry forward her legacy of kindness and resilience. David's wife, Natalie, brought even more joy to Ellie’s life. Her beloved grandchildren— Cy, Val, Trinity, and Alex —were the light of her world.
Ellie is survived by her dear brother, Arturo Ayala, and his wife, Diane, whose family meant so much to her. She held a special place in her heart for her nephew and niece, Eric and Nikki, always celebrating their accomplishments and cherishing the bond they shared. Ellie also had two dear cousins Mary Jo Alvarez and Yolanda Inglis who she held to her heart like sisters.
Ellie was preceded in death by her parents Aurelio and Maria Ayala, her Uncle Dave and Aunt Mini McRae, her niece Nikki Ayala, and her nephew Mark McRae.
To those who knew Ellie, she was more than a mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend—she was a guiding light, a source of comfort, and an example of unconditional love. Her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to be loved by her.
Though she is no longer with us, Ellie’s love remains in the laughter of her grandchildren, the strength of her children, and the countless cherished memories that will forever be treasured. Her spirit will continue to guide us, reminding us always to love deeply, give selflessly, and embrace every moment with gratitude.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Ellie’s memory by sharing kindness and love with those around you—just as she always did.
Rest in peace, dear Ellie. You will be missed beyond words and loved beyond measure.
