Dear Katherine and Family, Please accept my sympathies on the passing of your dear mother. Now that she is safe in Jesus' arms, I hope that with time and God's help, you too will find peace.

Although I only had the pleasure of meeting this charming, funny, and kind woman a few times during her too-brief visits in Arlington Hts., those meetings are memorable for me. All the wonderful traits I am blessed with in my friendship with Elinor's daughter, Katherine, were evident during those short visits...it is sure that the Lord granted all of us His Grace in having put the "essence of Elinor" in the people she has become a part of, whether it be her children, her dear husband, or her friends. Thanks and praise to God for sharing Himself through Elinor's life, and may she rest in His peace forever. To all of those who grieve her passing, I pray for your comfort, until such time that you meet again with Him.

Although I did not know Elinor, I know Valerie; and her family is very important to her and she loves all of them with a fierce loyalty. Elinor's memory will no doubt live on through the verbal and pictorial memories that Valerie will continue to share with her kids, her sisters, and her nieces/nephews. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family during this difficult time.

We have fond memories of Elinor growing up in Green River and the friendship Pete had during school years and Helen had while working for the Green River doctors and after our marriage.
