Elizabeth T. Blackwell passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2002. She was born July 24, 1917 to Coriell and Sara Thines. She entered Nursing school after graduation from Trenton High School, Trenton, New Jersey. She entered the military service as a flight nurse stationed in Brazil. There she met and later married Charles D. Blackwell. She is preceded in death by her husband, who died in 1983 and her brother Hubert Eldred. She is survived by her son John C. and Charlene Blackwell; her daughter Sara Louise Blackwell, four grandchildren Marci and Kurt VandenHouten, Kevin C. Blackwell, Sara and Robby Cartwright and Elizabeth Maria Benitez. Family will receive friends from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock Thursday, October 24, 2002 at Porter Loring.
