

Ruth “Elizabeth” Buldain, age 98, passed away, April 21, 2016 in San Antonio, TX. She was born on April 10, 1918 in Athens, TX to J. Ed & Inga Gauntt. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed, and a genuinely good person who will be revered.
Growing up in Waco, she worked as a legal secretary where she met and married a young lawyer. Over the course of their marriage, she bore and raised two sons while supporting his 40 year military and legal career. After living around the world, they retired in 1974 and made San Antonio their home.
Ruth was passionate about charities, most notably the ASPCA as well as the Disabled Veterans Association. Her kindness and compassion for all living things was her motivation in life until she went peacefully to sleep Tuesday night.
In 1997, Elizabeth was preceded in death by husband, Frank Buldain.
She is survived by hers sons, Frank and Roger Buldain; grandchildren, Nathan and Marie Buldain, and three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Victoria, and Adam.
Visitation will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home with Graveside Service to follow at 2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park. Condolences may be offered at www.sunsetfuneralhomesacom.
