Elizabeth Hernandez Garcia

Elizabeth H. Garcia entered eternal rest on Sunday, April 16, 2023, in her home surrounded by her family. April 16th held much beauty for Elizabeth. It was on this day, 57 years ago, she married the love of her life. It is fitting that this precious date would also be the day she met her Creator. Elizabeth was born to Oscar and Amara Hernandez in Del Rio, Texas. She was reunited with many loved ones to include her mother; Amara E. Hernandez, father; Oscar Z. Hernandez, brother; Oscar Hernandez, mother-in-law, Elvira A. Garcia and father-in-law, Phillip Garcia.

Elizabeth might not have had an extensive professional background, but she successfully performed the most difficult job on this Earth as a stay-at-home mom. She affectionately and selflessly devoted her life to her husband, children, and grandchildren. She loved all those around her unconditionally. Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband; Phillip R. Garcia, daughters; Tamara Garcia, Michelle Salinas and Dawn Garcia-Key, grandchildren; Ashely Martinez, Phillip Varos, Nicolas Salinas and Eliana Key and son-in-laws, Oscar Mojica, Rick Salinas and Matt Key.
