She was born February 6, 1920, in Hanover, Illinois, to Parke and Loretta Miller.
Elizabeth attended Northern Illinois State University where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Home Economics.
During World War II she served her country as a WAAC.
Elizabeth lived her life to the fullest, until the very end, and was an inspiration to all that she met.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Mark W. Gillaspie, USAF Ret..
Libby is survived by 4 children, Robert Gillaspie and wife, Phyllis "Garrie" of Helotes; Jane Caesar and husband, Jerry of St. Louis, MO; Joe Gillaspie of Steamboat Springs, CO; and Ann Finley of San Antonio; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
