Elizabeth Jean Miles

Elizabeth Jean Miles passed away June 27, 2013. Jean was born to Ron and Bess McIntyre, who preceded her in death, on October 25, 1946 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Her family moved to Texas in 1952. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson high school in 1964 and attended the University of Texas at Austin and San Antonio College. Jean was a most loving grandmother, dedicated mother and faithful wife. Jean took the best care of everyone she came in contact with. She was a good person, which is shown in everything she did. Jean was a gourmet cook and an amazing gardener, and she will be remembered for her nurturing kindness. Jean is survived by her beloved husband and soul mate of 47 years, Ben Miles; daughter, Kathryn; and grandsons, Cole and Finian. She is also survived by her sister, Joyce McDonald and brother-in-law, Robert McDonald of San Antonio; brother-in-law, Ray Miles of Castle Rock, Washington; nieces and nephews, Scott McDonald, Heather Lotts and husband, Gary Lotts, Laura McDonald and husband, Mauricio Portasio; and great niece and nephews, Josie, Gavin and Braden Lotts.
