She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Charles A. Toliver; brothers, Walter, Albert Shorty and Otto; and great granddaughter, Parke Elaine Chaney.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlene Payne and her husband, John of San Antonio; daughter, Mitzie Pearson and her husband, Ray of Paige, Texas; grandson, Charles Ken Payne of San Antonio; granddaughter, Beverly Chaney and her husband, Steve of Bryan, Texas; great grandson, Payne Toliver Chaney; great granddaughter, Pearson Nicole Chaney; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
