I am Jean’s 2nd cousin. My mother and her grandmother, Ida, were sisters. Have not seen her in many years.  We kept in touch through her grandma Ida, and her mother Hazel, until they both passed.
We spoke on the phone about a year ago, and we have been texting.  
Soo sorry for your loss.  Was not aware that she was close to the end of life.  My memories of her are fun memories.  I met her boys at my Aunt Ida’s house when they were little.  
Hard to lose those we love so dearly.
