Elva graduated from St. Francis Academy in 1972. She succeeded her mother’s occupation and she acquired formal training at Vogue College of Cosmetology. She was an experienced hair stylist and a successful and proud owner of E.G.’s Hair Salon. She enjoyed reading Danielle Steel novels, congregating with family and friends, crafts, and bingo with her dear sisters. She was a parishioner of St. James the Apostle Catholic Church.
Elva was a remarkable woman. She always impacted those around her, she was just that type of person. She always had a smile. She always had time to talk and made everyone feel special. She was a wonderful combination of warmth, compassion, kindness, laughter and love.
Elva was so grand; an extraordinary grandmother. Her heart was an everlasting patchwork of love. She shared a strong and unbreakable bond with her pride and joy, Eli. In her eyes, he was always right and he could do no wrong.
Elva, you are gone but not forgotten. In our hearts it will always be....your soft voice, vibrant smile, and your unconditional love, you will forever be imprinted in our minds.
