Elva Elia Gutierrez

Elva Elia Gutierrez, age 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 25th in San Antonio, Texas. Born to Bernardo and Eloisa Ramirez in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, she moved and was raised in Dallas, Texas where she was devoted to her parents, husband and children. Later, she moved to San Antonio to be closer to her family and enjoy her retirement.

Elva loved the craft of embroidery and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed. We were all blessed by her presence in our lives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Erasmo Gutierrez, son Sergio Cano, sister Altagracia Robles and brother Gerardo Ramirez. Elva is survived by children, Javier Gutierrez (Takako), Sara Ramos (Jeffrey); daughter-in-law Natalie Baron Cano; grandchildren, Joshua Gutierrez, Karina Hernandez (Joshua), Arianna Gutierrez and Aidan Ramos; great grandchildren, Camila Hernandez and many beloved nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, on Friday, December 1st, 2023, at Porter Loring Mortuary West (Located near Sea World)
