Elva B. Leal passed away peacefully surrounded by all those who loved her deeply on the 25th of September 2012. Elva was born on October 17, 1921 in Premont, TX. She married Raymond B. Leal Sr. on May 17, 1947. Elva was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond B. Leal Sr. She had 2 sisters and 3 brothers. She is survived by one brother Noe (Chimiro) Benavides (Diana) and 5 children, Sylvia Escobedo, Margie Garza, Raymond Leal Jr (Vangie), Barbara Limon (Rick) and Randy Leal (Ernest); 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. The visitation will be held on Monday, October 1, 2012 beginning at 6:00 P.M. followed by the Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd. The procession will depart the funeral home on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 9:15 A.M. for Mass at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 7893 Grissom Rd. at 10:00 A.M. The interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
