Elvia Tejeda

Elvia G. Tejeda born on January 08, 1951 in San Antonio,TX went to be with our Lord on August 20, 2022 at the age of 71 years. She retired from South San Independent School District after over 20 years of food service.

She is preceded by her parents, Victor Gomez, Sr. and Celia Gomez; beloved husband of 35 years, Henry U. Tejeda and brother, Victor Gomez, Jr.

Mrs. Tejeda is survived by her children, Ray Anthony Tejeda (Melissa), Jennifer L. Valencia (James), and Vanessa R. Limon (Ronnie); stepchildren, Melissa Tejeda, Henry Tejeda, Jr.(Suzanne), Carolyn Tejeda Swann(Todd) ; grandchildren, Mercedes, James, Ronnie, Madelynn, Miranda, Arianna and soon to be Maddox James; step grandchildren, Candice, Bradley, Marlina, Jared, Dominique, Crystal, Sean, Jessica and Luke; brothers, Santiago "Jimmy" Gomez, Elieso "Sheo" Gomez, and Evaristo "Eddie" Gomez; sisters, MaryJane Almendarez, Christine Esquivel and Veronica Gomez.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Trevino Funeral Home 2525 Palo Alto Rd. followed by a 7:00 p.m. Rosary to be recited that same evening. Procession will depart from the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Leonard's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at First Memorial Park at a later date.
