Elvira Pena Rodriguez

She is preceded in death by her eldest son, Ricardo Salazar and her late husband, Honorio Rodriguez of 45 years of marriage.

Elvira is survived by her son, Eusebio Salazar Jr. and his son, Alexander Salazar; granddaughter, Andrea Sanchez & husband, Paul and their children, Diego Garcia and Davani Sanchez and numerous extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Elvira had a great talent for sewing, excellent cooking and a love for Casino visits. She is remembered for her strength, independence, words of wisdom, friendship and most of all, her deepest love for her sons.

Our family would like to express peace and joy as Elvira is the last child to join her siblings in eternal life with their mother, Lucinda Ramirez.

Our family is thankful for support throughout the years from the late Kenwood Community Center of loving members and friends in San Antonio, Texas.

A visitation for Elvira will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211. A Mass of Resurrection will be Celebrated on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St Leonard Catholic Church, 8510 S Zarzamora St, 78224 with interment to follow at Carranza Cemetery.
